What is WooCommerce?

WooCommerce is the open-source store that runs on your own WordPress site — products, orders, customers, and checkout. Because it is self-hosted, your sales data stays on your server rather than a vendor's.

How HeyMetra works with WooCommerce

HeyMetra reads your store over WooCommerce's REST API to answer questions about orders, best-sellers, and revenue in plain language. It is a read-only source: HeyMetra reads your store and never changes a product, a price, or an order.

   In WordPress admin, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API and choose Add key.

   Give it a description, pick a user with access to orders, and set Permissions to Read.

   Copy the Consumer key and Consumer secret — the secret is shown only once.

   Open Connections in HeyMetra, choose WooCommerce, and paste your store URL along with the key and secret.

   Ask your first question — grounded in your live store data.
