What is AppsFlyer?
AppsFlyer is the mobile attribution and marketing analytics platform that ties installs, in-app events, and revenue back to the media that drove them. It’s the source of truth for mobile ROI and channel performance.
How HeyMetra works with AppsFlyer
HeyMetra reads your AppsFlyer data to answer questions about attribution, cost per install, and ROAS by channel in plain language — no dashboards to build. AppsFlyer is a read-only analytics source: HeyMetra reads your reporting and never changes your account.
How to connect
API key-
In AppsFlyer, open the account menu → Security centre → Manage your AppsFlyer API tokens.

Create a token of type API (not MCP). Copy the JWT (700+ characters). Tokens from before 10 March 2026 were revoked.

Pull API reports must be on the AppsFlyer plan — that is not a checkbox on the token. Without it, HeyMetra can list the app but cannot read daily figures.

Find the app ID: Android package name, or id + the App Store number on iOS.

In HeyMetra, open Connections → AppsFlyer and paste the API token and the app ID.
