What is Meta?

Meta is where your paid campaigns, your Facebook Pages and your Instagram presence all live. Performance, audience and content sit in separate screens there, and the question you actually have usually spans them.

How HeyMetra works with Meta

One sign-in reaches everything: you choose which ad accounts, Pages and Instagram accounts HeyMetra may read, and it answers from those. It can also propose changes to campaigns and budgets, each held behind an approval gate and applied only after you say yes.

   Open Connections in HeyMetra and choose Meta.

   Click Connect to start Meta's secure sign-in. Authentication happens on Meta, never inside HeyMetra.

   Sign in with the Meta account that owns your ad accounts and Pages.

   Review the permissions Meta shows, then tick the ad accounts, Pages and Instagram accounts HeyMetra may read.

   Return to HeyMetra and ask about campaigns, spend or how your Instagram account is doing.

Actions it can take

Every action is proposed first and runs only after you approve it — nothing changes in Meta until you say yes.

• Create a website custom audience from a pixel event. Nothing uses it until you add it to a campaign.
• Create a paused campaign. It will not spend until you turn it on.
• Create a pixel. It collects nothing until it is installed on the site.
• Pause or resume a campaign — proposed first, applied only once you approve.
• Rename a campaign — proposed first, applied only once you approve.
• Adjust a daily budget — proposed first, applied only once you approve.
