What is Google Analytics 4?

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is Google’s analytics platform for understanding how people find and use your website or app. It’s the source of truth for traffic, conversions, and channel performance.

How HeyMetra works with Google Analytics 4

HeyMetra reads your GA4 property to answer questions about channels, funnels, and revenue — no custom reports to build. GA4 is a read-only source: HeyMetra only reads your analytics and never changes your property.

   Open Connections in HeyMetra and choose Google Analytics 4.

   Click Connect to start Google’s secure sign-in — your password stays with Google.

   Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property.

   Grant read-only access to your analytics data — no write permissions are requested.

   Back in HeyMetra, ask about traffic, conversions, or funnels — grounded in your GA4 data.
