What is App Store Connect?

App Store Connect is Apple’s platform for managing your iOS apps and viewing sales, subscriptions, and download reports. It’s the source of truth for your Apple revenue and install numbers.

How HeyMetra works with App Store Connect

HeyMetra reads your App Store Connect reports to answer questions about sales, proceeds, subscriptions, and downloads in plain language. It’s a read-only source: HeyMetra reads your reporting and never changes your App Store Connect account.

   In App Store Connect, go to Users and Access → Integrations → App Store Connect API and generate an API key with the access you want HeyMetra to have.

   Download the .p8 private key file (you can only download it once) and note the Key ID and your Issuer ID.

   Open Connections in HeyMetra and choose App Store Connect.

   Upload the .p8 file and paste the Issuer ID and Key ID, then save — the credentials are stored securely and never shown again.

   Ask your first question — grounded in your live App Store data.
